Creative individuals with artistic talent who are looking for interesting and rewarding career are cordially invited to join the Faculty of Fine Arts and select our Graphic Design study program. The Graphic Design study program at the International Balkan University (IBU) teaches students how to create visual images that communicate a message to a target audience.
Graphic Designers often use computer software to help creation their designs, but their artistic and creative abilities are the primary ingredients for success.

The study program Graphic Design includes courses that teach students specific skills needed for their future profession including typography, illustration and packing, as well as the use of graphics design software for 3D design, web page design and interactive multimedia design.
In addition, the traditional art courses will help students to develop and enhance artistic talents for the coursework.
Graphic Designers create visual impact through a combined use of colours, images, text, sound, paper, artwork and motion. They work for businesses, institutions or private individuals to communicate a message effectively to a target audience.
Companies hire Graphic Designers to work in many areas including creation and preparation promotional materials, website design and illustration, product packaging, marketing and sales. In most art and design fields, information technology now plays an important role since designers use computer software to digitally create or enhance their work.

We understand that although the talent of a graphic designer is important, a solid educational foundation is also a necessary component of success. This modern approach for our coursework integrates compulsory courses and open electives, work in studio and computer lab. Our Graphic Design study program will provide the technology training including courses that teach students specific skills needed for their future profession as typography, illustration and packing, as well as the use of graphics design softwares, web page design and interactive multimedia design. In addition, the traditional art courses will help our students to develop and enhance their artistic talents and creative abilities.
