A CAREER BRIDGE FROM EUROPE TO FUTURE

From Coordinator
English Language Preparatory Program (ELPP) is a program with a clear and simple objective: to provide high-quality English language instruction to those students who are admitted to IBU, but do not have the necessary language knowledge and study skills to be able to follow the lectures which are held in English language only. The students are obliged to attend various courses and do many practical projects and tasks in order to achieve the goal. The expected outcomes range between expressing personal attitudes and ideas in wide variety of subjects to being able to explain experts ideas in both written and oral form. They would also enrich the vocabulary and level up the general language competence, and finally, be fully prepared to start pursuing their academic career.
ELPP is a multinational environment full of diversity connected through cultures. The difference between ethnic groups is an advantage through which students discover each others customs and traditions. We learn how to respect and honor other religions and nationalities. We practice tolerance and flexibility. In other words, the multicultural environment generates creativity, improves our students intellectual skills and enriches their ability to comprehend variety.
Lecturers reflect the reality. They belong to all the nationalities that respond to the call of professionalism and commitment. Lecturers bring the reality - the natural environment in the classrooms as much as they can. They support vigorous, motivating and positively competitive atmosphere. Interactive teaching methods with an emphasis of the communicative approach are applied. Students are encouraged to develop their own individual styles of learning therefore, they rely on their teacher s readiness to help at any time in IBU premises or outside via e-mails, blogs or even the most popular Facebook. All in all, lecturers follow student s success and achievement continuously and always respond to their needs.

Its primary aim is to help students revise the material quickly and efficiently, and learn the exam techniques.
Being part of ELPP is gaining lots of skills i.e. language, study or problem solving skills. Our students will have learnt to work hard, autonomously, and as a part of a team. Some of them will discover the leader in themselves, others will rely on the analyzing talent, but all of them will enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
