Attendance Rules
a. Attendance criteria are calculated at the end of the each semester before the final exam by the course instructors and delivered to Rectorate.
b. Final exams attendance criteria are 72% of theoretical and practical hours for 14 weeks. Fractional figures would not be taken into consideration.
c. Religious and national holidays will be considered as if had been attended.
d. Official permits and health reports will be considered as if had been attended, but health reports and the other official permits can not exceed 15% of total course hours. These students should have at least 57% attandance for final exams.
e. The students who attend 2 study programmes for their overlapping courses or the students who register the course again and there is overlapping in the lecture schedule, at least 36% attendance from each course is necessary to enter the final exam. For these students health reports and the other official permits can not exceed 6% of total course hours. These students should have at least 30% attandance for final exams.
f. Those students that do not have final exam attendance can not enter the makeup exams. They should repeat the course.
g. Student needs to take et least 25 raw point out of 100 (10 credit points) from midterm exam. Otherwise, they can not take final exam, but if they have attendance they can take makeup exams.
h. Students need to take at least 25 raw point out of 100 (10 credit points) from final exam.
i. Students should collect minimum 80 raw points from both the mid-term and the final exam (32 credit points).
j. Activities credits shall be applied only if the above mentioned conditions have been fulfilled.
k. In order to pass a course, students should take minimum 50 credit points.
General attendance rule is 36% in overlapping courses and 72% for non-overlapping courses.
