IBU and ADAM CONDUCTED A JOINT SYMPOSIUM, 27-28 MAY, 2011
An International Symposium on "Past, Present and Future of Turkish-Albanian-Macedonian Relations" in collaboration with Ankara Center for Thought and research (ACTR-ADAM) and International Balkan University (IBU) was conducted at Stone Bridge Hotel, in Skopje, between 22-28 May 2011. It was inaugurated with the talks of Prof.Dr. Huner Sencan's, Rector of IBU and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut's, President of ADAM, speeches that warmly welcome the contributors and guests. The symposium targeted on further elaborating and exchanging views on tri-partite relations in Turkish, Albanian and Macedonian perspectives. Some 25 papers were presented and each was equally reinforced by valuable contributions from academicians and participants. Remarks and impressions were in the way that such multi-ethnic view-exchanges should be encouraged in the coming activities like this one. It is also observed that the symposium has fulfilled the aim of conscious awareness in the issues pertaining to this part of the Balkans.
