Study Program Changing
For Self-Financed Students

1. Study program changes can be done only at the begining of the third semester. Prep Program and first year self-financed students can not cahange their study program till to the beginning of the third semester.

2.  Preparatory Course and First Year Students can’t change their department after filling out and signing the 16-pages registration form.

3.  If students change their study program in their index book, this change will be considered invalid. (Even if it had been stamped by student officers by mistake.)

4.  If there is a conflict between index book and 16-pages registration form information, in this case, according to the decision of the Senate, 16-pages registration form knowledges will be considered valid.

5. If a student changes study program within the same or different faculty, his/her ID number also will change.

6. The study program change is possible only by approval of Rector`s Board, not later than the fourth lecture week of the semester.


For Scholarship Students

1.   In accordance with the Executive Board decision, scholarship Students can’t change their departments of study programme.

2.  Exception is allowed only for students from Turkey who do not achieve necessary points in examinations required to enrol a specific department at faculty according to YÖK (Yüksekögretim Kurulu/Board of Higher Education of Turkey) rules.
