The mayor of Bayrampasa Municipality Huseyin BURGE as the chairman of "the Foundation for development of Education and Culture in Skopje" and accompanied group have visited the International Balkan University on 15 September, 2008.
The Word Water Forum has occured on the 3/4th of July 2008 in Skopje. The rector of International Balkan University Prof. Dr. Mehmet ZELKA has made a presentation at the forum. The Republic of Turkey Minister of Environment and Forestry Prof.Dr Veysel EROGLU who represented the the Turkey at the forum, he later visited the Internatioanl Balkan University.
The General Secretary of Turkish Presidency Prof. Dr. M. ISEN has visited the IBU on 4th May 2008.
