As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with key educational institutions in Türkiye, the Rector of International Balkan University (IBU), Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, alongside the President of the Board of Management of IBU, Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil, paid an official visit to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).

The IBU delegation was cordially received by Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of YÖKAK. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for engaging discussions on quality assurance in higher education, accreditation standards, and institutional evaluation practices.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar highlighted IBU’s dedication to academic excellence, presenting the university’s recent developments, strategic goals, and initiatives focused on internationalization and quality enhancement.

Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil elaborated on IBU’s strategic outlook, emphasizing the university’s pivotal role in fostering educational and cultural connectivity between Türkiye and the Balkans.
