IBU Political Science Students Meet with UN Resident Coordinator

Students from the Political Science Department at the Faculty of Law at International Balkan University (IBU), accompanied by Prof. Ivan Ivanov, had a unique and enriching opportunity to meet with the UN Resident Coordinator in North Macedonia, Rita Columbia.

This engaging session offered students valuable insights into the mission and work of the United Nations, both on a global scale and within the local context. Key topics included the importance of the UN's role in addressing global challenges, the goals outlined in the Pact for the Future, and the significance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The discussion that followed was both dynamic and inspiring. It provided IBU students with a platform to express their views, share their aspirations, and contribute thoughtful ideas about the future direction of the UN. This meaningful dialogue served as a reflection of their growing awareness and commitment to global issues—an encouraging sign of the next generation's potential to shape a better world.
