International Balkan University (IBU), through its newly established and accredited Department of Hotel Management and Tourism under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, has signed a cooperation agreement with the leading hotels in North Macedonia to deliver industry-integrated, hands-on education for its students.
The agreement were signed by Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar on behalf of IBU; Mr. Gürkan Kaban, representing Parkland Hospitality Group (Park Hotel & SPA); Mr. Gökhan Ramazanoğlu, representing Limak Skopje Luxury Hotel; and Mr. Oğuz Eruygun, representing Marriott Hotel Skopje.
This collaboration is a key step in merging academic theory with real-world practice, ensuring our graduates will be fully equipped to meet the demands of the industry.
The Department of Hotel Management and Tourism offers a three-year (180 ECTS) undergraduate program fully taught in English, with scholarship opportunities of up to 100%. Supported by a team of expert and experienced academic staff, the program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in both theory and practice.
As part of the agreements, students will benefit from internship and practical training opportunities at prestigious hotels, enhancing their professional skills and career readiness. The partnership will also facilitate industry-focused workshops and seminars, opportunities for high employment for graduates.
