IBU Expands Cooperation with Municipality of Bujanovac

In line with its mission to foster international collaboration, International Balkan University (IBU) has taken another step toward building strong partnerships in Serbia. Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe met with the Mayor of Bujanovac, Mr. Arbër Pajaziti.

 

Lökçe was accompanied by IBU representatives Anita Rrustemi, Melisa Fejzuli, and Refik Hyseni.

 

The meeting centered on ways to strengthen ties between the Municipality of Bujanovac and IBU, with a special focus on initiatives that support education, professional growth, and community engagement. Both sides highlighted the need for sustainable academic programs and training opportunities that equip young people with skills for future careers.

 

Mayor Pajaziti welcomed IBU’s proactive role in building educational networks that extend beyond national borders. He emphasized that cooperation with universities such as IBU creates new avenues for youth development, cultural exchange, and community advancement.

 

Through this visit, IBU reinforced its vision of acting as a regional partner in education and innovation, while the Municipality of Bujanovac expressed readiness to collaborate on joint projects that will benefit students and the wider community.
