IBU Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Lökçe Visits Islamic Community in Preshevo

Strengthening institutional cooperation in the Balkans, International Balkan University (IBU) Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe paid an official visit to the Islamic Community in Preshevo, Serbia. The visit served as a platform to discuss new opportunities for collaboration in education, culture, and youth engagement.

 

Lökçe was accompanied by IBU staff members Anita Rrustemi, Melisa Fejzuli, and Refik Hyseni.

 

The IBU delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of the Islamic Community, where both sides exchanged views on building stronger ties between the university and the local community. Discussions highlighted the role of education in empowering young people, the importance of cultural cooperation, and the value of joint initiatives that can create meaningful opportunities for the youth of Preshevo.

 

This visit reaffirmed IBU’s commitment to developing strong partnerships with institutions in the Balkans. By building bridges between academia and local communities, IBU continues to support projects that foster knowledge-sharing, cultural understanding, and long-term collaboration for the benefit of society.
