Skopje, October 21, 2025 The Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law at the International Balkan University organized a comprehensive Case Analysis Session focusing on the George Floyd incident. The session took place in classroom B304 and brought together law students and academic staff for an in-depth exploration of the case’s legal, sociological, and ethical dimensions.
During the event, our students Fatmagül Köksal, Sevimcan Meray, and Mesut Han Madran delivered an insightful presentation analyzing the incident through a multidimensional framework. Their analysis emphasized key aspects of justice, equality, and the implications of law enforcement practices within contemporary societies.
The session provided participants with a broader understanding of the legal and human rights issues surrounding the case, while also encouraging critical thinking and dialogue. A Q&A segment followed the presentation, allowing students to engage in an interactive discussion and share their perspectives.
The event was successfully organized under the Legal Clinic, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalija and Asst. Ömer Cem Ulutaş, as part of our continued efforts to promote experiential learning and deepen students’ practical understanding of legal processes and social justice.
