The International Balkan University was represented at the Trilateral Workshop on Academic Cybersecurity Practice, hosted by the University of Passau, through the participation of Neslihan Ademi from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering.
The workshop gathered representatives from universities across Bavaria (Germany), Poland, Czechia, North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Kosovo, providing a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and best practices in IT security governance and cybersecurity management within higher education institutions.
Organized by the Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST), with the support of the Centre for IT Security of the University of Passau, the event fostered academic dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of insights on the evolving landscape of cybersecurity regulations at both national and European levels.
Through such participation, we continue to contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity awareness and capacity-building in higher education.
