International Balkan University (IBU), through its Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Opfolio Investments AD Skopje, a newly established investment management company in North Macedonia. This partnership represents a shared commitment to advancing financial education, research, and professional practice, while bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry experience in the fields of investment management, financial analysis, and capital markets.

The official signing ceremony took place at IBU and was attended by Mr. Vasko Bogdanovski, Chief Executive Officer of Opfolio Investments AD Skopje; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andrijana Bojadzievska Danevska; and Ms. Alisa Bajrami, an IBU alumna who recently joined the Opfolio team. During the meeting, both institutions emphasized the importance of collaboration in fostering innovation, practical learning, and student engagement with the financial sector.

Through this cooperation, IBU and Opfolio Investments AD Skopje will work together on initiatives such as student internships, professional guest lectures, and joint research projects addressing contemporary financial trends. This partnership reaffirms IBU’s dedication to preparing its students for leadership roles in finance, banking, and investment, while contributing to the development of a stronger and more dynamic financial ecosystem in North Macedonia and beyond.
