We took part in the 4th International Symposium on Turkish Language Teaching and Turkology in the Balkans, held in Konya from 5 to 7 November 2025, under the theme “Migration and Traces of Migration in the Balkans.” International Balkan University was represented by our General Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi, who attended the event on behalf of our institution.
Organized by the Türkiye Maarif Foundation and the University of New York in Tirana, with the support of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the symposium brought together distinguished scholars, researchers, and experts from across the region. Participants shared their perspectives on the role of Turkish language and culture in the Balkans, with a particular focus on historical and contemporary migration processes and their cultural traces.
By taking part in this important academic gathering, we continue to strengthen our engagement in regional dialogue on language, culture, and education, while further enhancing the visibility of International Balkan University within the broader academic community of the Balkans and Türkiye.
