The BISTLAB | Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in partnership with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, successfully organized the event “Transforming Financial Transactions, Enriching Lives.” Through this initiative, we brought together leading professionals from the financial sector to share insights on how emerging technologies are reshaping modern financial systems and expanding access to digital financial services.

We had the pleasure of welcoming distinguished experts Mrs. Biljana Misik, CEO of Iute Macedonia; Mr. Teodor Todorovski, General Manager of P2P; and Mr. George Rukov, Managing Partner at Credissimo. Their presentations offered our students practical knowledge on peer-to-peer lending models, digital financial solutions, and innovative approaches to consumer finance. The event was formally opened by our Vice Rector, Asst. Prof. Ahmet Lokçe, followed by welcome remarks from the Dean of FEAS, Assoc. Prof. Liza Alili Sulejmani, and was moderated by Asst. Prof. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia for the continued cooperation, with special appreciation to Mrs. Antoneta Manova Stavreska for her support in strengthening financial literacy among young people.
