At International Balkan University, through our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, we have officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with WVP Fund Management AD Skopje, a leading company managing open-end and closed-end investment funds and a member of the WVP Group based in Graz, Austria.

During the official meeting, our Vice Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lokce, our Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edmond Jajaga, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ceneta Telak Durmishi met with representatives of the WVP Group in North Macedonia: Mr. Vladimir Despotoski, Member of the Supervisory Board of WVP Pension Company AD Skopje, Mr. Kostadin Kitanovski, Investment Agent, and Mr. Gjorgji Petrushevski, Professional Associate at WVP Fund Management AD Skopje. Together, we discussed a cooperation framework designed to support practical learning opportunities, research activities, analytical projects, and initiatives aimed at advancing financial education and fostering broader inclusion in the investment sector.

This partnership reflects our commitment to connecting academic excellence with the practical needs of the financial industry, with a focus on financial markets, asset and wealth management, investment advisory services, and financial literacy. Through this collaboration, we will strengthen student development by offering structured internship programs, guest lectures delivered by industry professionals, joint research efforts, and the potential creation of specialized courses aligned with evolving market requirements.
