We had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Yazid Zahda to the Faculty of Law for a guest lecture held within our International Public Law course. Dr. Zahda delivered an insightful presentation titled “Palestine: Erosion of Statehood,” where he explored the historical, political, and contemporary dynamics shaping the Palestinian statehood process.
Throughout the session, we examined the long-term implications of colonial legacies, governance challenges, and the evolving international legal context surrounding the Palestinian question. Our students actively participated in a meaningful discussion, raising thoughtful questions and deepening their understanding of the complexities of self-determination and international justice.
By hosting such academic engagements, we continue to foster critical thinking, global awareness, and constructive dialogue on pressing international issues.
