We proudly hosted the documentary screening of “Whose Is This Song?” at our university, organized by our International Student Office and met with a strong level of interest and participation from our academic community. The event brought together our students and staff in a meaningful cultural setting and was honored by the attendance of our Vice Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe and our International Student Office Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Nur, reflecting our institutional commitment to initiatives that promote dialogue, understanding, and shared academic and social experiences on our campus.

Through the documentary, we offered our students an engaging exploration of cultural interaction in the Balkans, emphasizing shared heritage and the unifying role of music across societies. The screening created a powerful platform to reflect on how cultures in the region influence one another and how cultural exchange contributes to social cohesion and mutual respect. By addressing these themes in an academic yet accessible format, we reinforced our mission to cultivate globally aware individuals who appreciate diversity and common values alike.

This event directly aligned with our commitment to internationalization, student development, and community engagement by raising awareness of intercultural interaction and supporting its long-term sustainability within university life. We observed our students actively engaging with the content while enjoying a shared cultural experience that encouraged reflection and dialogue. As International Balkan University, we will continue to strengthen these efforts through our International Student Office by supporting the adaptation of international students, providing ongoing guidance, and organizing similar initiatives that enrich campus life and deepen intercultural understanding.
