We were pleased to welcome a distinguished delegation from the Municipality of Preševo to our university, led by Ms. Ardita Sinani, Mayor of the Municipality of Preševo, alongside Mr. Ragmi Mustafa, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Preševo; Mr. Armend Aliu, Deputy President of the Municipal Assembly of Preševo; and Mr. Gazmend Idrizi, Head of Public Relations of the Mayor of the Municipality of Preševo. This meaningful visit reflected our continued commitment to building strong institutional bridges with public partners and advancing constructive dialogue that benefits our students, our academic community, and the wider region. By engaging directly with respected municipal leadership, we reaffirmed our role as a university that actively contributes to internationalization, community engagement, and sustainable cooperation across borders.

Our guests were received by our Rector, Prof. Lütfi Sunar, and our Vice Rector, Asst. Prof. Ahmet Lökçe, in an official meeting marked by collegial and forward-looking exchange. During the discussions, we focused on strengthening institutional ties and exploring future opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest, emphasizing the value of knowledge-sharing, academic cooperation, and practical pathways that connect education with real-world needs. The visit further highlighted our dedication to building partnerships that support quality education, foster innovation, and encourage meaningful engagement in higher education institutions.

As a key outcome of the visit, we signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, reflecting our shared commitment to building a long-term partnership and advancing joint initiatives. This agreement stands as an important step toward sustained collaboration, reinforcing our belief that strategic partnerships can create lasting value for both institutions and communities. Following the signing, the delegation toured our university facilities, gaining closer insight into our academic environment and campus infrastructure, as well as our ongoing efforts to strengthen impactful cooperation at the regional and international level. We look forward to translating this promising momentum into concrete activities that reflect our shared priorities and deepen collaboration in the period ahead.
