We recently welcomed a group of high school students from Medreseja Isa Beu, representing Skopje, Tetovo, and Gostivar, to our campus for an educational visit focused on career awareness and future planning. Accompanied by their professors—Nurtene Shehi Sakipi, Nehal Ibrahimi, Sadete Luta, Semire Fetahi Halimi, and Avni Neziri—the students engaged in a program designed to support informed decision-making at a crucial stage of their academic journey. Through this visit, we continued our commitment to strengthening ties with secondary education institutions and guiding prospective students toward higher education opportunities.
We organized a workshop on anxiety management in choosing a future profession with the active support of our Career Center, which was also attended by the Career Center Coordinator, Djeneta Telak Durmishi. During the workshop, students openly discussed the challenges they face when making career decisions and reflected on the importance of self-awareness, informed choices, and long-term planning. The session further introduced students to a range of academic and professional pathways, including opportunities available through IBU’s academic programs, reinforcing our student-centered, supportive, and guidance-oriented educational approach.
We continued the visit with a comprehensive campus tour, allowing students to experience our facilities firsthand and gain insight into academic life and student opportunities at IBU. Through short interviews, students shared their impressions and expressed enthusiasm about the university environment. In parallel, the accompanying professors met with our Vice Rector, Ahmet Lökçe, contributing to institutional dialogue and cooperation. We view such visits as an important part of our outreach and engagement efforts and remain committed to supporting young people through quality education, collaboration, and a welcoming academic environment.
