We proudly hosted the introductory program of TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest technology and innovation festival, on our campus in Skopje, bringing together distinguished representatives and guests in collaboration with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the Union of Turkish NGOs in Macedonia (MATÜSİTEB). By opening our doors to such a globally recognized initiative, we once again demonstrated our strong commitment to advancing science, technology, and innovation in North Macedonia and the wider region. The event highlighted the transformative power of technology-driven platforms and reaffirmed our role as a leading academic institution that actively supports visionary programs aimed at empowering youth and strengthening international cooperation.

The program was honored by the presence of our Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish, TİKA Skopje Office Coordinator Şeyma Babayiğit, MATÜSİTEB President Tahsin İbrahim, representatives of the T3 Foundation, and numerous invited guests. During her address, Coordinator Babayiğit emphasized TİKA’s pride in supporting TEKNOFEST as a platform that unlocks young people’s potential in science, technology, and innovation, while reinforcing sustainable development through knowledge and experience sharing among friendly and brotherly countries. She underlined that TEKNOFEST goes beyond being a festival; it serves as a dynamic ecosystem that encourages production, research, and innovative thinking, while contributing to the development of national technologies and nurturing future scientists and engineers. Through this meaningful gathering, we created an inspiring academic environment that fostered dialogue, collaboration, and forward-looking perspectives.

By hosting the introduction of TEKNOFEST, we strengthened our institutional mission to cultivate a generation that is technologically competent, research-oriented, and globally engaged. We view such initiatives as essential opportunities to connect our students and academic community with international innovation networks and to reinforce our dedication to quality education, community engagement, and future-oriented development.
