We proudly continued our commitment to expanding our regional academic partnerships through an official visit to the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FSI) in Pristina. Our delegation, consisting of Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe, Vice Rectir for Institutional Relations, and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ebru Ibish, Vice Rector for Education, represented International Balkan University in this important meeting. We were warmly received by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Islam Hasan, together with his associates, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Faculty’s mission, academic programs, academic staff, and student body. This meaningful exchange created a constructive platform for dialogue, institutional reflection, and the exploration of shared academic priorities.

During the meeting, we emphasized our institutional structure and academic capacity, highlighting that seven faculties operate within our university, offering a diverse range of study programs aligned with contemporary academic standards and societal needs. We expressed our sincere appreciation for the hospitality and the opportunity to engage in open and forward-looking discussions. The exchange of experiences and perspectives reinforced our shared commitment to quality education, academic excellence, and the preparation of future generations through strong and values-driven higher education frameworks.

The primary purpose of our visit was to initiate and advance inter-institutional cooperation between our two higher education institutions. We are pleased that both sides demonstrated a clear willingness to transform this dialogue into concrete collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future. This visit reflects our strategic vision to strengthen internationalization, foster regional academic networks, and build sustainable partnerships that contribute to student mobility, joint initiatives, and long-term institutional development. Through such engagements, we continue to position IBU as a proactive and dynamic university dedicated to cooperation, innovation, and academic growth across the region.
