We were delighted to host the IBU Alumni Iftar Dinner 2026 on our campus, bringing together our valued graduates in a warm and meaningful gathering during the holy month of Ramadan. As an institution that places strong emphasis on community, belonging, and continuity, we welcomed our alumni back to IBU with great pride, celebrating not only the spirit of togetherness but also the enduring bond that connects our graduates with the University. The evening provided a special opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and reinforce the sense of unity that defines the IBU family.

During the program, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, addressed the attendees and highlighted the importance of maintaining strong relationships with our alumni as an integral part of IBU’s vision for sustainable growth and institutional development. In his welcoming remarks, we emphasized how our graduates continue to represent the values of IBU in their professional and personal lives, contributing positively to society while remaining closely connected to their alma mater. Following the Rector’s address, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe also shared his reflections, further underlining the significance of alumni engagement and the role of such gatherings in strengthening mutual collaboration and long-term connections.

Through this special iftar dinner, we once again reaffirmed our commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive university community that extends beyond graduation. By creating spaces where our alumni can reconnect with the University and with one another, we continue to build a strong network grounded in shared values, mutual support, and collective growth. We remain dedicated to organizing initiatives that nurture these relationships and ensure that every member of the IBU community feels a lasting sense of belonging.
