We are delighted to announce that the @EIT Higher Education Initiative has awarded funding to IMPACT-Campus as part of their Call for Proposals 2024!

International Balkan University is proud to be one of the full partners in IMPACT-Campus: Knowledge Valorization Centers for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation, a transformative project that reimagines the role of higher education institutions as drivers of systemic innovation, sustainability, and inclusive regional development.

Coordinated by Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and supported by EIT Culture & Creativity, the project brings together 15 full partners from across Europe, the Western Balkans, Turkey, and North Africa, alongside leading associated partners from Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, the UAE, and Poland.

IMPACT-Campus will establish 15 Knowledge Valorization Centers (KVCs) in ultraperipheral and underserved regions to:

✔️ Train over 1,300 students and staff in digital skills and sustainable entrepreneurship
✔️ Support 14 start-ups (12 existing, 2 new)
✔️ Ensure 40% participation from marginalized groups
✔️ Forge 90 strategic partnerships across academia, industry, and government
✔️ Institutionalize KVCs as permanent regional innovation hubs
