International Balkan University Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning

In a significant step toward enhancing collaboration between academia and public institutions, International Balkan University (IBU) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry’s premises, underscoring a joint commitment to advancing environmental education, sustainable development, and professional engagement.

 

The Rector of IBU Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, were warmly welcomed by the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Mr. Izet Mexhiti, and members of his cabinet.

 

This partnership is designed to strengthen ties between the university and the Ministry through initiatives that promote student development, collaborative research, and the integration of practical experiences into academic programs. It also aims to support the advancement of environmental policies and planning through joint projects, knowledge exchange, and the inclusion of real-world practices in the educational process.

 

The memorandum was officially signed by Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, on behalf of IBU, and Minister Izet Mexhiti, on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
