IBU Organizes Academic Staff Meeting to Mark the Start of the New Academic Year

International Balkan University (IBU) successfully organized its Academic Staff Meeting, bringing together the university’s leadership and academic community in preparation for the upcoming academic year. In attendance were the Rector, Vice-Rectors, Deans, Secretary General, professors, assistants, and the entire academic staff—demonstrating a strong collective commitment to our shared mission in higher education.

This important gathering served as both a reflective review of the 2024–2025 academic year and a forward-looking platform to mark the official start of the 2025–2026 academic year. It was an opportunity to evaluate our achievements, set new goals, and align our academic strategies for the months ahead.

Our esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar delivered the opening address, sharing an insightful overview of the University’s strategic vision. He highlighted key institutional achievements, presented significant data points, and outlined the direction in which we are headed as an institution committed to academic excellence, innovation, and international collaboration.

Following the Rector's remarks, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish, Vice-Rector of IBU, took the floor to discuss academic performance indicators and share updates on upcoming academic and research projects. Her presentation emphasized the importance of continued progress in research and underscored the projects that will play a pivotal role in advancing our academic goals this year.

Through this meeting, we reaffirmed our commitment to quality education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous development. As we step into a new academic year, we do so with renewed energy, clear objectives, and a shared dedication to making IBU a leading institution in the region and beyond.
