CODE 1: One (1) teaching staff member in all teaching-scientific academic titles in the scientific field of: (5) Social Sciences, area: (5.08) Media and Communication, sub-area: (5.08.00.07) Other – 1 (one) candidate

I. In addition to the general conditions set out in Articles 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169, and 170 of the Law on Higher Education (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 82/2018, 154/2019, 178/2021, and 58/2024), candidates must also fulfill the following conditions:

• Excellent command of the English language, to be proven by a certificate issued by a relevant institution (the employer reserves the right to conduct testing and/or an interview);
• Fulfillment of specific conditions set out in the Regulation on the criteria and procedure for the selection of teaching-scientific, teaching-professional, teaching, and associate positions at the International Balkan University;
• Previous experience in an academic environment will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of local languages (Albanian and/or Turkish) will be considered an asset;

II. Candidates for selection to teaching-scientific and associate positions must submit the following documents:

• Cover letter;

• Full academic biography (CV);

• Diploma of completed third-cycle studies (original or notarized copy) (for teaching-scientific titles only);

• Diploma of completed second-cycle studies (original or notarized copy);

• Diploma of completed first-cycle studies (original or notarized copy);

• Foreign diplomas must be notarized and accompanied by grade equivalency (original or notarized copies);

• A list of published scientific and professional papers (including one electronic copy of the works in PDF format); and

• Certificate of citizenship.

Only shortlisted candidates, upon request of the employer, shall be required to submit the documents listed in point II in printed form.
