The aim of this course is to provide the students to acquire detailed information about counseling and guidance in primary and secondary education. Hence, this subject includes the range of services provided by counselors for psychological counseling and guidance in primary and secondary schools. The course contains the following topics: Introduction; Characteristics in primary and secondary education; The scale of counseling and guidance in primary and secondary education; Models of counseling and guidance in primary and secondary education; Development of counseling and guidance in primary and secondary education; Individual counseling in primary and secondary education; Counseling and guidance for career development in primary and secondary education; Development of self-confidence in primary and secondary education; Techniques of evaluation in primary and secondary education; Work with parents and teachers; Counseling in cases of trauma, bereavement and crisis in primary and secondary education.
