ENG 207 Linguistics

ENG 207 Linguistics; Weekly hours: 2+1, ECTS: 5
The purpose of this course is for students to be able to present data relating to the design features of language, why linguistics is a science, the basic approaches in linguistic studies, and offer traditional topics of structural linguistics as phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. The course is designed to provide students with excellent coverage of the full range of modern linguistics and the debate about how to bring linguistics in foreign language teaching.
