Art & Design is everywhere in our life. Be it our home, be it the streets in our city, be it the business we work at – we all get in touch with the sense of art. Deriving from the very ancient times, art has taken an important role in the expression of people’s cultures, beliefs, lifestyles. Today, in the new era of internet and multidimensional communication, Art and Design appear to be the answer to the very crucial question of life – who we are.

Led from the necessity to respond to this challenging thesis of today, we at IBU have designated responsive, comprehensive and internationally-structured departments of Graphic Design and Visual Arts. This is the point where creative individuals with artistic skills meet, share their passion and talent and ultimately get a reward for a successful career.

The department of Graphic Design includes courses that teach students specific skills including typography, illustration and packing, as well as the use of graphics design software for 3D design, web page design and interactive multimedia design, through a combined use of colors, images, text, sound, paper, artwork and motion.

Visual Arts is the department where students are taught with the forms that create works which are primarily visual in nature, such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking and architecture. By creating visual images or craftworks, students learn the best to communicate their message to a target audience.

We at IBU are aware that it is the talent who leads an individual to be a great graphic designer or visual artist. Yet, we are deeply convinced that a solid educational foundation is a necessary component to the success of that individual. This is the part where we ‘take the floor’ and devote ourselves to achieving this noble task of today.
