The Rectorate of International Balkan University organized a modest cocktail for the academic staff, administrative staff and students on the occasion of the university’s ranking as top university in the field of teaching and learning according to the recently published Shanghai Ranking for higher-education institutions in the Republic of Macedonia for the academic year 2015/2016.
In his address, Rector Kocayusufoglu noted that this achievement is a result of the common efforts of many actors at IBU, who have contributed in the development of IBU as a reputational university destination in the Balkan region. “This tremendous achievement is the result of the restless work and sincere and proactive commitment of the founders of the university, our executive board, the rectorate, the academic and administrative staff, and in particular, our students who are the focus of our mindset! Each and every one has put a stone on the three golden letters – IBU, and fortified the castle of knowledge and wisdom which we call our second home! We thank you all one by one!” – said Kocayusufoglu.
Having been ranked as top university in such an important category for the universities, Rector Kocayusufoglu noted that this fact imposes a greater responsibility to carry on even better and even further, since in the philosophy of IBU, there is no limit for quality and development. He said that IBU will engage in reaching new peaks ahead and do everything it takes to make IBU a worldwide education brand.
