On the event, titled “How to achieve financial independence among young people?”, hosted by “Club Alpbach Macedonia in Skopje on 20th November 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska as a panelist and Kristina Velichkovska as a moderator, both members of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at IBU, contributed to the first session, titled “Financial literacy and financial (in)dependence of young people in Macedonia”
At the event, the Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr. Anita Angelovska Bezoska, gave her address, highlighting the importance of promoting financial literacy as a key tool towards youth financial independence.
The panel comprised three engaging sessions where experts from financial institutions and representatives from the public and private sectors delved into topics such as financial literacy, cultivating healthy financial habits, investment strategies, and formulating policies to bolster the financial independence of young individuals in Macedonia.
The panel discussion not only addressed the challenges but also paved the way for collaborative efforts in shaping a financially independent future for the young generation in Macedonia.
