The main focus will be on the overlap, interplay, and tensions between religion and politics in both Christian and Islamic societies. This course aims to show introduction Religion, State and Politics; Politics in the Vatican ; The Catholic Church and Political Parties in Post-WW; Two Europe;  Religion and Politics in Islam ; Religious Groups and U.S. Foreign Policy; The Role of Religion in Politics
