PSY 307 – Forensic Psychology; Weekly hours: 2+1, ECTS: 6
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the nature of the interaction between psychology and the legal system, particularly the importance of individual approach to testimony, examining and resolving cases in the area. The curriculum includes the following themes: Introduction to Forensic Psychology, Police Psychology questioning, testimony, interviews and memories about children’s traumatic events, profiling, criminal personalities, psychology and court / trial modes of correction, jail, rehab, jury and scientific view of the overall interaction of psychology and the legal and legislative system.
