This course focuses on the relationship between religion and ethics, on the social responsibility and morality. The course examines the religious sources of ethics and handles the topics such as justice, medical ethics, business ethics, environmental ethics etc. The course aims to define the responses of religions to the problems of ethics. to describe several ethical theories with particular attention to religion. to define the norms of morality.Contents: Religious ethics; major principles of religious ethics, Religion as a source of ethics, Norms of moral conduct, Social responsibility and ethics,  Responsible choice-makers in a pluralistic society: Respect, tolerance, cooperation, values, principles. Religion and the state, The global ethic and religion, The relationship between symbolic and practical religious action, Ritual and moral pedagogy Religion and bioethics, Environmental ethics, Business ethics.
