Erasmus+ Student Mobility is part of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, which supports education, training, youth, and sport across Europe.
What it is:
It enables students enrolled in higher education institutions to study or train abroad in another participating country for a period of two to twelve months.
Types of mobility:
Study mobility: Students attend courses at a partner university abroad and earn credits that count toward their degree at their home institution.
Traineeship mobility: Students complete an internship or work placement abroad, either during their studies or shortly after graduation.
Funding:
Participants receive an EU grant to help cover travel and living expenses, with the amount depending on the destination country and duration of stay.

Promote international experience and cultural exchange
Improve language and intercultural skills
Enhance employability and personal development
Strengthen cooperation between European higher education institutions
Eligible countries:
The programme includes EU member states, third countries associated to the programme (North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkiye) and partner countries outside Europe depending on institutional agreements.
