International Balkan University Launches Summer School Program

The Language School at International Balkan University (IBU) has officially launched its 2025 Summer School Program, welcoming its first group of participants this week.

Among the initial attendees are female students from three distinguished Anatolian Imam Hatip high schools in Türkiye:

1. Bandırma Ali Öztaylan Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi (Bandırma)

2. Uluslararası Şehit Mehmet Karaaslan Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi (Istanbul)

3. Uluslararası Pendik Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi (Istanbul)

The students are taking part in an intensive English language program, designed to offer high schoolers a unique opportunity to improve their language skills within an international academic and cultural environment.

A second group of participants, comprising male students from various Imam Hatip high schools, is expected to arrive next week to join the ongoing activities.

In total, 90 students will benefit from this year’s program, which emphasizes not only language development, but also cross-cultural dialogue, academic enrichment, and personal growth.

IBU’s Summer School continues to serve as a bridge between Türkiye and the Balkans, fostering stronger educational and cultural ties among youth.
