Welcome to International Balkan University! Orientation Days are designed to help you officially join our community, complete your registration, and settle into university life.

During orientation days (September 17-26, 2025), meet our expert teams to complete your registration, submit documents, and ask questions to officially join the university. Join our campus tour to explore study areas, social spaces, and other facilities. Academic advisors and guides will support you with program details, career planning, and adapting to university life and the city. Don’t forget to get your student card to access all campus services!

Arrival & Welcome Service

Airport & Bus Station Pick-Up: September 17–26, 2025

Students arriving from abroad can request pick-up assistance. Please complete the Welcome Form at: form.ibu.edu.mk between August 25 – September 17, 2025.

This will allow us to:

- Collect your arrival information in advance.

- Organize smooth airport/bus station pick-up.

- Speed up your registration and first-day procedures.

Orientation Support Desks

During Orientation Days, all IBU administrative offices will be on-site to guide you. Students can complete all procedures in one place:

1. Legal Affairs Desk – Information on residence permits and legal requirements.

2. Student Affairs Desk – Document submission.

3. Finance Desk – Tuition payment and financial procedures.

4. Student Information System Desk – Login credentials and system guidance.

5. Welcome Desk (Student Card Services) – Student ID card, SIM cards, welcome materials, and promotional items.

Campus Experience & Orientation Program

1. Campus Tour

Explore our facilities across the university:

- Block A: Health Sciences Simulation Center, Dental Clinic, Balkan Laboratories, Halkbank Library, BIST Lab, Art & Fashion Studios, Architecture Studio.

- Block B: English Language School, IT Lab, Conference Hall, BIT Loft, Prayer Room.

- Rectorate Building: Student Affairs, Accounting, Legal Affairs, Studio Balkan, Conference Hall, Mock Courtroom.

- Balkan Dental Polyclinic

2. Accommodation Festival

A dedicated area with information stands from dormitories, apartments, and real estate agencies to help students find housing.

3. Student Wellbeing Center

Introduction to social, psychological, and health support services to help you adapt more easily to university life.

4. Orientation Class

Location: Rectorate Building, Conference Hall

Program Includes:

- Welcome Speech by the Rector

- Undergraduate Education System Overview

- Introduction to the Student Information System (Hello!)

- Legal Affairs (residence permits and responsibilities)

- English Preparatory School Presentation

Student Card Information

Dear Students,

Upon arrival, you must complete your personal information and upload a recent photo through the Student Information System in order to receive your student ID card. Your student card gives you access to all campus services and facilities. Completing the upload on time ensures your card is ready without delays.

Important Reminder:

If you do not upload your information and photo promptly, your ID card will not be ready. You will need to go through security checks when entering campus, which may delay your participation in activities and cause unexpected difficulties.

English Placement Test (Exemption Exam)

Dear Students,

Before starting your studies, you are required to take the English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) to determine your level of English proficiency.

Exam Dates:

English Placement Test I → September 1, 2025

English Placement Test II → September 17, 2025

English Placement Test III → September 24, 2025

Students must register for the English Placement Test (Exemption Exam) via THIS LINK.
