About Department

The study program in Economics is carefully designed to provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of economic theory and practice. Through a modern and interdisciplinary curriculum, the study program aims to develop personnel who are able to analyze economic problems, design effective solutions and significantly contribute to sustainable economic development. From that perspective, the program will foster knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, public finance, development economics, econometrics, etc. combined with training in methods and techniques of research and policy analysis. Whereas, special attention will be paid to topics such as digital transformation, green economy, artificial intelligence, regional growth and development, innovation and the role of institutional governance in shaping economic performance. This coincides with the needs of a rapidly evolving labor market, where adaptability, analytical skills and a solid foundation in economic reasoning are essential. Hence, the program is designed to meet this demand by offering a curriculum that combines academic knowledge with practical skills. In a nutshell, this program aims to prepare young professionals to address the challenges of the modern era and equip them with critical skills for diverse career opportunities.

General Requirements
  • Candidates with completed secondary education, in accordance with Article 134, paragraph 2
  • All candidates must take an internal exam to assess their knowledge of the English language
  • Candidates who do not achieve a minimum score of 60/100 points need to attend the Preparatory School
