As part of his visit to Konya, Our rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, visited the Social Innovation Center of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, where he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ali Güney, Director of the Social Innovation Agency (SIA).

Recognized globally as a leading model for social innovation, SIA operates in areas such as data-driven policymaking, urban planning, and sustainable development. The agency develops strategies and programs aimed at creating lasting and effective solutions to social challenges through research, impact assessment, and process innovation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration between International Balkan University and Social Innovation Agency, particularly in promoting innovation-driven projects, academic cooperation, and knowledge exchange. The visit emphasized the shared vision of fostering sustainable and socially responsible development through collaboration between academic institutions and local government.
