We were pleased to facilitate an insightful field visit for our students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) to TAV Airport Skopje, organized within the International Transport and Logistics course and accompanied by Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic and Asst. Sani Saidi.

The visit began with a comprehensive presentation introducing the airport’s strategic role in passenger and cargo flows, its safety standards, and the importance of efficient logistics in ensuring global connectivity. Students gained valuable insights into the operational structure of a modern international airport.

During the tour, students explored both administrative and operational areas, observing how planning, coordination, and documentation support the airport’s daily functions. They then proceeded to the airside area, where they observed ground handling operations, aircraft turnaround processes, and ramp services—experiencing firsthand how classroom concepts translate into real-world aviation procedures.

A particular emphasis was placed on the Cargo Center, where students followed the flow of export and import shipments and learned about security procedures, handling protocols, and cooperation between logistics and customs-related sectors. This segment of the visit strengthened their understanding of global transport chains and provided meaningful exposure to potential career opportunities in aviation, logistics, and supply chain management.

We extend our sincere appreciation to TAV Airport Skopje for their ongoing cooperation and for hosting our students during this educational field visit. As a university, we remain committed to providing learning experiences that bridge academic theory with professional practice.
