IBU Expands Its European Academic Network Through New Erasmus+ Agreements

We are proud to announce that we have further strengthened our internationalization strategy through the signing of new Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements by the Erasmus Office of International Balkan University with three distinguished European higher education institutions: Metropolitan University of Prague, University of Bialystok, and University of Rijeka. These new partnerships represent a meaningful step in expanding our global academic footprint and reaffirm our commitment to building strong, sustainable connections within the European Higher Education Area.

Through these agreements, we are creating new and diverse mobility opportunities for both our students and academic staff, enabling participation in international study, teaching, and training experiences. Several of our academic units will directly benefit from these collaborations, including Psychology, Political Science and International Relations, International Economics, E-Business, PR and Marketing Communications, and English Language Teaching. By opening additional pathways for academic exchange, we continue to enrich our educational environment with comparative perspectives, shared expertise, and cross-cultural engagement.

These Erasmus+ partnerships align closely with our institutional values of quality education, innovation, and international cooperation. We view academic mobility and intercultural learning as essential components of a modern university experience and as key drivers of personal and professional development. As we move forward, we remain committed to deepening these collaborations, encouraging active participation across our faculties, and ensuring that our students and staff benefit fully from the opportunities offered through our expanding European network.
