We proudly announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between International Balkan University (IBU) and Dijitalpark Teknokent aimed at strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship across the Balkans. Through this important partnership, we continue to expand our role as a leading academic institution that actively contributes to the development of regional innovation ecosystems and supports emerging entrepreneurial initiatives. The agreement reflects our long-term vision of connecting academia, industry, and innovation networks in order to create meaningful opportunities for young entrepreneurs, researchers, and technology-driven startups throughout the region.

The agreement was officially signed at the Dijitalpark Teknokent Ataşehir Campus in Istanbul by Dijitalpark Teknokent General Manager Prof. Dr. Tahsin Engin and the President of the Board of International Balkan University, Prof. Dr. Bilal Sucubaşı. The signing ceremony was also attended by Cemil Yıldız, Member of the Board of the INNOX Innovation Centre, and Tolga Bildirici, Deputy General Manager of Dijitalpark Teknokent, highlighting the strong institutional commitment to fostering collaborative innovation initiatives. Through this partnership, we aim to jointly develop accelerator programs for startups, organize training and mentorship activities, facilitate networking events within the innovation ecosystem, and support the international business development processes of emerging entrepreneurial ventures.

As one of the flagship initiatives under this cooperation, we will soon launch the regional acceleration program “Bridge 2 Balkan,” which is designed to connect startup ecosystems between Türkiye and Balkan countries. Through this program, we aim to bring together promising startups, experienced mentors, and potential investors, creating a dynamic platform that supports innovative ideas and helps them grow into sustainable ventures. By offering international mentorship opportunities, specialized training programs, investor connections, and access to regional and global markets, we continue to strengthen our commitment to empowering innovation, fostering cross-border collaboration, and positioning IBU as a key contributor to entrepreneurial development in the Balkans.
