As part of our World Book Month activities, we successfully hosted a Reading Club Event at the Halkbank Library in collaboration with the English Language School, creating a vibrant space dedicated to literature, creativity, and student engagement. Through this initiative, we reaffirmed our commitment to promoting reading culture and encouraging intellectual curiosity among our students, while providing an inclusive environment where ideas and perspectives can be shared freely. By organizing such events, we continue to strengthen our role as a university that values both academic excellence and cultural enrichment.
The event was centered on storytelling and reading, bringing together students in a welcoming and intellectually stimulating atmosphere where they actively engaged with literature and with one another. Designed as a café-style reading experience, the activity offered a relaxed and comfortable setting that encouraged participants to immerse themselves in reading while enjoying social interaction and meaningful discussions. This format not only enhanced students’ appreciation of literature, but also supported the development of communication skills, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.
Through this event, we once again demonstrated our dedication to creating dynamic learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom and contribute to the holistic development of our students. By fostering a strong culture of reading and dialogue, we aim to inspire lifelong learning and a deeper connection to literature and the arts. We remain committed to organizing initiatives that enrich student life, strengthen our academic community, and uphold our mission of nurturing well-rounded and engaged individuals.
