We proudly hosted a meaningful academic conference at our Faculty of Education, organized by the Department of Turkish Language Teaching, where we welcomed Asst. Prof. Dr. Mümin Ali for a distinguished presentation titled “Between Tradition and Modernity: The Rise of Turkish Literature in North Macedonia.” Through this event, we once again demonstrated our commitment to promoting academic dialogue, cultural awareness, and intellectual engagement, while providing our students and academic community with opportunities to explore important topics related to language, literature, and identity.

The conference commenced with an opening speech by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekrem Destanov, who emphasized the significance of such academic gatherings in enriching the educational experience and strengthening scholarly exchange. During the session, we explored the historical development of Turkish literature in North Macedonia, examining the dynamic relationship between traditional literary elements and modern approaches, as well as its evolving position within the broader cultural and academic landscape. The presentation encouraged thoughtful reflection and created a platform for productive discussions among participants.

We were pleased to observe the active engagement of our academics and students, who contributed to a vibrant and insightful exchange of ideas on the role of literature in preserving cultural identity and transmitting it to future generations. Such initiatives reflect our dedication to fostering a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment that values both heritage and innovation. We extend our sincere appreciation to Asst.
