We proudly organized a round table discussion titled “Bridging AI, Green Transition, and Higher Education: Preparing Skills for a Sustainable Future,” bringing together distinguished academics to explore how artificial intelligence and sustainability are reshaping education and the future of work. Held on our campus, the event created an intellectually engaging platform where we fostered meaningful dialogue on the intersection of technological innovation and environmental responsibility, further reinforcing our role as a forward-thinking institution committed to addressing global challenges through education.

The round table was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at our University, who highlighted the increasing relevance of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability in modern societies and evolving labor markets. We were honored to welcome esteemed speakers, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Xhavit Islami from AAB College, Kosovo; Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Porjazovska Kujundiski from the Faculty of Engineering and Coordinator of the Green Office at our University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Besime Ziberi from AAB College, Kosovo; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawaz Ahmad from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University and the University of Aveiro. Through their contributions, we enriched the discussion with diverse academic perspectives and international expertise.

Throughout the session, we explored the impact of artificial intelligence on creativity and employment, the transformation of labor markets through digitalization and the green transition, and the critical role of universities in equipping students with future-oriented skills. By facilitating this dialogue, we once again emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in responding to technological and environmental developments. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in education, as we continue to prepare our students to thrive in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex global landscape.
