We proudly continue to advance practice-oriented education at International Balkan University by creating meaningful opportunities for our students to engage directly with real-world institutions. As part of the course Media and Politics within the Political Science study program at our Faculty of Law, we organized a valuable visit for our students to attend a parliamentary session dedicated to Members of Parliament (MPs) questions addressed to the Government, including the Prime Minister, ministers, and other senior officials. Through this initiative, we reinforced our commitment to bridging academic learning with institutional experience, enabling our students to witness democratic processes in action within a formal political environment.

During the session, we provided our students with a unique opportunity to observe firsthand how political communication and debate unfold at the highest level of governance. By closely following the interactions between elected officials and government representatives, our students gained practical insight into parliamentary discourse, the role of media in shaping political narratives, and the mechanisms through which political accountability is exercised. This experience further enriched their understanding of media management, public relations strategies, and political messaging, allowing them to critically analyze how communication is structured, delivered, and perceived in a dynamic and influential setting.

We remain dedicated to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and awareness required to succeed in an increasingly complex global landscape. By integrating experiential learning opportunities such as this parliamentary visit into our academic programs, we continue to strengthen our students’ critical thinking, analytical capabilities, and engagement with democratic institutions. This initiative reflects our strong commitment to fostering responsible, informed, and active participants in society, while upholding our values of quality education, innovation, and community engagement as we prepare our students for their future professional and civic roles.
