We proudly hosted the IMPACT Campus Hackathon Day, bringing together our students from the Faculties of Economics, Engineering, and Art & Design for a dynamic and collaborative experience focused on creativity, sustainability, and digital innovation. Through this full-day event, we created an inspiring environment where interdisciplinary teams worked closely with mentors to transform bold ideas into practical solutions, resulting in the development of six preliminary start-up concepts that reflect both innovation and real-world relevance.
The event commenced with motivating opening remarks from WP4 Coordinator Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kristina Velichkovska, and Knowledge Valorization Center Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andrijana Bojadzievska Danevska, setting the tone for a day centered on impact and collaboration. Throughout the program, we ensured strong mentorship support, as experts Abil Baush, Igor Mishevski, Aleksandar Talimdjioski, Ervin Domazet, and Afan Hasan, together with KVC Team Member Asst. Sani Saidi, guided students in refining their business model canvases and pitch presentations. Their continuous feedback enabled participants to strengthen their ideas, enhance their problem-solving skills, and gain valuable entrepreneurial insight.
The Hackathon concluded with a certificate ceremony led by Vice Rector for Projects and Research Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katerina Miteva Petrushevska and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, celebrating the dedication and achievements of our students. As part of the broader IMPACT-Campus initiative, we continue to foster Knowledge Valorization Centres across the Western Balkans and beyond, reinforcing our mission to connect academic knowledge with real-world application. This event stands as a clear reflection of our commitment to innovation, student development, and shaping a new generation of forward-thinking professionals who are ready to address contemporary challenges.
