IBU Strengthens Practical Accounting Education Through Participation in Regional Conference
he Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, together with Assistant Edita Mustafa and Teaching Assistant Lejla Bilalli, accompanied by the first and second year students of the faculty, attended the Third Regional Conference of Accountants and Certified Accountants, held on 6 May 2026 in Skopje.
The conference program included high-level panel discussions such as “Harmonization of the chart of accounts and financial statements with international standards – challenges and benefits” and “From numbers to impact: Where is accounting heading?”, offering insights into current developments and regional perspectives in accounting.
Overall, the conference highlighted the importance of linking academic learning with professional practice, contributing to the development of students’ competencies and their preparation for future careers in accounting.
